　　On August 20 and 21, 2007, China Huaneng Group donated 1 million Yuan each to Fujian and Zhejiang 

　　Provinces hit by typhoon Sepat to support them in the post-disaster reconstruction efforts and also sent 

　　them letters of sympathy.

　　 

　　Right now, the scope of the electric power service of Huaneng Group covers 23 provinces, municipalities 

　　directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions, including Fujian and Zhejiang. While 

　　working hard to provide the society with safe, stable, clean and reliable electric power and actively 

　　supporting local economic construction, Huaneng has always been keen on programs for public good and 

　　has enthusiastically taken part in the building of a harmonious society.

　　 

　　It is reported that, by 18:00, August 21, No. 9 typhoon Sepat had caused 4.97 billion Yuan of direct 

　　economic losses to Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Hunan.
